Fraternal Greetings To All:
Several new Coins & Lapel Pins are available below at pre-order pricing. Production is underway with delivery anticipated around mid-October to 1 November.
By pre-ordering, Harley and I get to determine how many coins to produce. As well, we get a cash flow to cover our costs. Granted, Harley may not be as concerned as I might be about the dollars and cents. Scratch his ears, provide dawg biscuits and he will give away the entire store. The lot of new coins I present below are priced at $8.00 each from this date until 1 November at which time the items will be placed on my website at www.gbp.net/rtj and priced a wee bit higher. Naturally, you are welcome to order items from my website, though I ask that you make a separate order, as this sale and regular inventory items won't mesh together until November.
I don't think you need any further chatter from me brothers, sisters. Graphics of the new items are pictured below as well as order numbers. I do hope you like these creations. They have taken quite some time to produce and I am rather proud of what I believe is "square" work. The graphics of the lapel pins are a bit off size. Don't panic. They are not billboards...about 1/4 to 3/8 inch high.
Your brother,
Rtj/pm
Christmas 2007 431C Brothers: This is the 4th annual Christmas Coin I have produced. The tempo of this coin harkens back to more peaceful times. However, if you look closely at "Brother Frosty" you will see that he is thinking about our boys and girls serving on distant shores so as to keep our home fronts free of strife. The other holiday coins are available on my regular website at www.gbp.net/rtj BUT, as requested above, please make anything you might want from the regular web site offerings a separate order, otherwise I will get it all mixed up. And, I can make enough mistakes without help.
All Gave Some - Some Gave All
Brothers: The two coins to the left represent the Allies as they fought together for Peace. The Korea coin bears the US emblematic military Star on the right side and to the left is a British Crown emblematic of the era. On the Second World War Coin there is also the star and the crown but a slight addition: the Canadian Maple Leaf as it was designed during that time frame. As well, there are two starting dates for entry into the war, 1939 and 1941. Although America was doing convoy protection duty much earlier in the North Atlantic and a few others things, a formal declaration of war did not come until after the attack on pearl Harbor.
