Nothing to join. No dues to pay. Just a concept. A way to build our Lodge presence in our own communities while getting those retired masters of their trade interested in getting back to the Lodge.
What is MISTER? It is your retired Brethren! Past masters of their trade who are ready, willing and able to help you with your project. Whether it is consulting with you to get your business back on track or lending you their expertise in designing that new addition you have always dreamed of.
From carpenters to plumbers, from electricians to chefs. You know that your lodge has some of the best minds in the business. Why not borrow from these minds and get the professional help you need. All just for the asking.
Have you have ever wanted to build something yourself but gave up because you didn't have the know-how? That has changed! Want to build a deck but don't know where to start? You could always go to the local lumber yard and ask how. Sure, the folks there are pretty knowledgeable and can tell you exactly how. But what about when you are right in the middle of a project and run into a problem? Wouldn't it be nice to give a brother a call and have a real professional give you a hand? It's often not easy to describe a problem over the phone and you can bet that the folks at the lumber yard are not going to jump in their car to come over and take a look.

Many years ago, when the Masonic Fraternity was formed, every member was a mason. That is, a stone mason. If a Mason had an unusual problem he could not figure out when building a temple, he just asked for help at his Lodge. After all, they were all in the same trade. Well, of course, times have changed. Now your brethren come from all walks of life. So if you run into a problem with anything you may be doing, all it takes is a call to your lodge to get a helping hand. Just like your brethren of the past, you now have the ability to call on a brother for help.

And it doesn't stop there. We are also asking our retired brothers to recommend their wives for help with anything they are interested in as well. They may have been professionals in their respective fields or they may be good at some things your wives may be interested in. Whether you would like a female perspective on your business plans or your wife would simply love to learn to knit!

But it doesn't stop in the Lodge. This can be a community service. Make it plain that anyone in the community can use your Lodge Brothers expertise. Get your Lodge's name out there. Friend to friend, Brother to Brother. Let it be know that if anyone is stuck on a project they can always call on a Freemason!
